About This Seed
Large, nearly spherical to teardrop-shaped seed (pit) with a smooth to slightly textured woody brown coat, mottled with reddish-brown patches. Results in a large evergreen tree reaching 30 to 60 feet tall with dark green, leathery leaves, small green flowers, and large, nutrient-dense, pear-shaped fruits with creamy green flesh.

Germination
