About This Seed
Seeds are extremely small, teardrop-shaped to oval, black or dark brown, glossy, and measure about 1 to 2 millimeters in length. The resulting plant is a climbing, epiphytic, vining cactus with segmented, triangular stems bearing aerial roots. It produces large, stunning, night-blooming white flowers and oblong, bright pinkish-red fruits with green scales and sweet, edible white flesh speckled with thousands of tiny black seeds.

Germination
Germination takes 7 to 14 days at an optimal soil temperature of 70°F to 85°F. High germination rate when fresh. Seeds require surface sowing or very light covering as they need light to germinate. No scarification is strictly necessary.
